Statement of Faith
The Bible
We believe in 66 books of the Bible are fully inspired, without error, and preserved by God. (2Tim.3:16; 2Pet.1:19-21).
The Trinity
We believe that the Godhead exists eternally in three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. (Mt.28:19-20; 2Cor.13:14).
The Son
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Lord Jesus Christ made the perfect atonement for sin by shedding His blood on the cross. His death on the cross redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. (Romans 3:24; Galatians 3:10).
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is entirely apart from good works, baptism, church membership, sacraments, or any effort of man. (Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5-7).
The Church
We believe a church is an assembly of baptized believers. It is the mission of the church to proclaim the Gospel and teach the saved. Its ordinances are baptism of believers by immersion and the Lord's Supper. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:38).
The Resurrection
We believe, at death, believers depart to be with Christ and at the rapture their bodies will be raised in the likeness of His glory and dwell forever in His divine presence. (Philippians 1:23; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13).

Core Values and Philosophy
God-exalting
We want to be God-exalting in all we do as a church
Christ-centered
When we come together in worship, we come to God through Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Word-driven
The Living Word (Jesus Christ - John 1:1) is revealed in the written Word (Scripture - Hebrews 1:1-3). This means that exalting God by centering our lives and worship on Christ can only be accomplished through God's Word.
Gospel - focused
The Gospel is the simple, powerful, and profound message by which God offers sinful people eternal life!
Spirit-empowered
Jesus told His followers, "Without Me, you can do nothing." He went on to explain that after His return to His Father in Heaven, He would send a Comforter to be with them in His absence. That Comforter is the Holy Spirit (John 14:26).
Grace-enabled
Grace is undeserved favor from God that saves us from the penalty of our sins (2 Corinthians 8:9; Ephesians 1:7; 2:8-9). But it is more. Much more! Grace transforms our lives first by instructing us and then by enabling us to be more like Christ and less like the fallen world around us (Titus 2:11-15). Apart from God's unmerited grace we would never be able to obtain forgiveness.
Others-oriented
It is easy for believers to view the church selfishly. We come with the spirit of serving others!
Our Baptist Distinctives
A Baptist's beliefs regarding the Bible and its teaching differentiate him from other sects, denominations and /or organizations. These beliefs are the gauges by which our churches are governed. Strictly speaking, Baptists are not Protestants. Our spiritual forefathers were in existence before the reformation ever began. The following are what we call Baptist Distinctives:
B-
Bible is the only rule for Faith and Practice - 2Tim.3:16
A-
Autonomy of the local church- Col. 1:18; 2Cor.8:1-5, 19, 23

T-
Two Ordinances - Acts 2:41
I-
Individual Soul Liberty- Rom. 14:5, 12; 2Cor.4:2 ; Titus 1:9
S-
Separation is personal, ecclesiastical, and from the state. Acts 5:29; 2Cor.6:14-18; 1Thes. 5:22
